History

Founded in 2010 at Salbari, Siliguri, with just 5 students and 6 dedicated teachers, Woodridge International School was the vision of esteemed educationist and philanthropist, Mr. V. K. Rai. A renowned teacher, Mr. Rai has been closely associated with several prestigious schools and coaching institutes, particularly in preparing students for NEET and JEE exams.

The school operates under the aegis of the Siliguri DD Memorial Society, committed to fostering educational excellence. In 2015, the school was relocated to its current campus at Patharghata, PO New Chumta, near Mayfair Resort. That same year, we earned our affiliation with the CBSE, with our first batch of Class X students sitting for their exams in 2016, followed by our first Class XII batch in 2018. Since then, all our students have passed with flying colours, achieving exceptional results year after year.

From these humble beginnings, the school has steadily grown, earning a reputation for academic excellence, holistic development, and a nurturing environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
